The Saint Vincent DePaul Society, a charitable organization founded by Blessed Frederic Ozanam, offers services to the needy in our parish community. The Queen of Peace Food Pantry invites parishioners to bring a grocery contribution of non-perishable food items to be distributed weekly to individuals and families in our community who are currently going through a financial crisis. Throughout the year we also hold the Sharing the Joy and Life is a Gift (formerly Baby Shower) gift tag projects, sponsor blood drives, and feed the homeless off site twice a year.
ONLY IN AN EMERGENCY: Call the parish office in advance to arrange to pick up food. (201) 997-0700
Items need by the Food Pantry:
- Canned Fruit, Jello, Instant Pudding
- Rice sides, Pasta, Mac & Chesse, Soups, Cereal, Tuna, Instant Potato, Canned Vegetables, Jelly, Peanut Butter.
Please drop off any food items in the bin located at the back of the church, or at the rectory.
We thank you for your continued support throughout the year in helping this ministry continue its good works.
