Queen of Peace | VINE & BRANCHES

The pandemic has impacted every aspect of our lives; including, how we come together as a community of faith – in being physically present with one another – and how we connect with Christ and receive the Eucharist.

Our faith community here at Queen of Peace Church enthusiastically joins in the Vine and Branches initiative launched by the Archdiocese of Newark.

With Vine and Branches we joyfully reconnect with each other as a parish family and reinvigorate our connection with Jesus Christ celebrating the Eucharist as a community.  Please join us beginning each weekend in October as we celebrate our Queen of Peace family embarking on our upcoming Parish Centennial in 2022 with the following events:

Sunday October 3rd

Join Fr. Anthony, as representatives of our Queen of Peace community, to celebrate with Bishop Saporito in a Eucharistic Adoration Prayer Service at St. Luke Church, Ho Ho Kus - 6:00pm in anticipation of our welcome back month activities and the opening Archdiocesan initiative, Vine & Branches. At the 1 hour Eucharistic Adoration Service, we will invoke the Holy Spirit to guide all our efforts and lead us all to a deeper appreciation of the Eucharist and our connection with one another.

Sunday October 10th

Blessing of the New Church Doors at the 8:ooam Mass.
As we joyfully anticipate the celebration of our parish’s 100th Anniversary, join us in symbolically opening our new doors to great happenings in our next 100 years!

Sunday October 17th

Blessing of a plaque dedicated to Msgr. Peter B. O’Connor, at the 8:00am Mass, celebrating and honoring the man responsible for the building of our church and its beautiful surrounding buildings.

The Weekend of October 23rd/24th

After each Mass come and join us for refreshments at the La Salle Center. Get to know the parishioners you break bread with every Sunday on a more personal level. Building Community is a gratifying endeavor for all!
